BREAKING NEWS - Men Arrested After Suspected Parcel Bomb Sent to MI6 HQ

Two men have been arrested under Section 4 of the Explosives Act after a suspected parcel bomb was sent to MI6's headquarters. A second parcel was also intercepted at a London sorting office.

The first man, Aly Akbar Khan, 52 is being held on remand and is due to appear in court in Gwynedd, Wales. A second man, 21, was arrested and released on bail pending further enquiries.

Todd Research at the Counter Terror Expo

Todd Research will be in location C30 at the Counter Terror Expo (CTX) next week (14th and 15th April). We'll be showcasing a mixture of our cabinet and conveyor scanners along with the Soter RS body scanner.

Radiological Protection Supervisor (RPS) Course - 12th May 2010

Todd Research is preparing to celebrate its 60th anniversary since incorporation in style! Todd Research came into being in 1950 and to mark this landmark, Todd Research will be launching some new mailroom scanners and services throughout 2010.

To underline the pioneering approach that Todd Research has always taken, not least in launching the first mailroom scanner in 1973, a Jubilee mailroom x-ray Scanner will be launched for 2010. Aimed at the UK and a growing export market, the Jubilee mailroom scanner will offer an x-ray scanner with single function capability at an unbeatable price.

Todd Research has always taken their responsibilties to their many and varied, long standing customers seriously. But, we are keen to ensure that those customers in export markets with very limited budgets for mailroom x-ray scanners can still provide their staff with security products which can save lives.

Mailroom security is still our central role but the TR10 (the under counter size x-ray cabinet), launched in 2008 is being employed by our customers in Reception areas and other 'Front of House' locations. Operator DVDs and Manuals

As part of our ongoing commitment to customer training, we have recently been looking into the development of training DVDs specific to the different units we sell. We are pleased to announce that we have now launched the first DVD which is an operator's manual for our TR15 scanner. The DVD covers installation of the unit, normal operation, threat indicators and fault finding etc.

The DVDs are on sale for just £79.99 each, including a hard copy of our TR15 Manual.

Replacement hard copies of our other unit manuals are also available for £24.99 each.
