Salary – £35,000 Plus OTE and Benefits including Bonus & Company Car

As a Business Development Executive, you will maximise sales of our safety and security solutions throughout your given territory with a 60% new business and 40% account management split.
In this important role, you’ll achieve targets by prospecting, arranging appointments, responding to leads and enthusiastically presenting our client’s range of products, solutions and services.

Specifically, your duties will involve:

– Identifying the benefits that products can bring to both new and existing customers
– Generating contacts within the customer base
– Compiling quotations
– Building strong working relationships with customers and creating additional business opportunities
– Allowing members of the Sales Team to shadow you to increase their abilities

To be considered, you’ll need:

– Field sales and/or business development experience
– Previous technical sales experience
– A full driving licence

Job Summary
To generate quality leads for the Sales team through quality prospecting, as well as any ad hoc responsibilities as set out from time-to -time by the Sales Director. Overall responsibility for insuring that all required documentations are produced to the highest standard of quality and accuracy and in an efficient and timely manner.

Key Responsibilities
– First Point of contact for new sales enquiries
– Processing new sales enquiries
– Making outbound sales calls
– Sending out prospecting correspondence
– Answering phone calls
– Scheduling appointments in the sales team diaries
– Keeping track of personal set targets
– Updating sales team target boards

Key Skills Required
– Must have outbound calling experience
– Must be warm, outgoing, chatty person
– The confidence to communicate effectively at all levels
– Good presentation skills
– Good levels of planning and organisation
– Intermediate Excel, must be able to use formulas and reference information from different sheets to produce detailed reports
– Ability to use Word and PowerPoint at an intermediate level
– Ability to work to deadlines and prioritise
– Good interpersonal skills
– Proven administrative experience, numerate with high levels of attention to detail, coupled with the ability to handle sensitive and confidential information, when required

Experience, Education or Skills
– Must be a seasoned telesales professional with a minimum of 3 years’ experience.
