Job Summary

Reporting into the Office Manager, the role of Service & Sales Administrator will essentially be to manage customer maintenance contracts, invoicing customers and keeping the client database up to date. The role also involves the generation of quality leads for the Sales team through quality prospecting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • First point of contact for all maintenance agreements
  • Generation of monthly maintenance quotations
  • Processing of sales orders using Sage 200 and raising maintenance agreements for customers
  • Keeping customer database up to date with all live maintenance contacts
  • First Point of contact for new sales enquiries
  • Processing new sales enquiries
  • Making outbound sales calls
  • Sending out prospecting correspondence
  • Answering incoming telephone calls
  • Scheduling appointments in the sales team diaries

Key Skills Required:

  • Confidence to communicate effectively at all levels
  • Ability to work as a team and individually
  • Good presentation skills
  • Good levels of planning and organisation and have an eye for detail
  • Proficiency in MS Office with expertise in Microsoft Word, Outlook, PowerPoint and Excel
  • Previous knowledge of Sage 200 preferred but not imperative
  • Ability to work to deadlines and prioritise
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Proven administrative experience, numerate with high levels of attention to detail, coupled with the ability to handle sensitive and confidential information, when required
  • Outbound calling experience preferred
